The Hoodwink Saga

A long time ago...back in early 2018... I decided that I needed a new wallet. I wanted a wallet with specific features. 3 ID windows, with room leftover for several cards and a little cash. 

Not too much to ask for, right?

WRONG!

I searched high and low, scouring the internet for just the right wallet.

I didn't find one.

So, I thought to myself, "Maybe I can just make one! How difficult could it be?"

So I began watching YouTube videos. There were definitely plenty of those! I saw skilled craftsmen building the most beautiful wallets! 

"I can do that!" I thought to myself. So I drew out the rough plans for my perfect wallet, bought some leather, thread, dye, and a beginner's set of tools, and made my first wallet.

It was a disaster! The card pockets were too small for credit cards to fit, the edges were beyond rough, the stitches wandered precariously along those edges, and the dye was as splotchy as a toddler's fingerpaint picture.

Lessons learned! I decided to start from the beginning again, and take it slow this time. watched and rewatched as many leatherwork videos as I could, and with time and lots of practice...I improved.

Now, I've revisited my perfect wallet idea, and the end result is what I'm calling the "Flagship" wallet since it's the one that started it all.

I've turned my fun little hobby into a small business, and I'm ready to share my creations with the world!
